This is a limited edition composed by urban design pieces reusing SKFK Ethical Fashion dead stock. SKFK has moved from using 10 per cent low impact raw materials in its collections to above 90 per cent today. Fibers can be of natural origin (obtained from plants and animals) or man-made (regenerated cellulosic and synthetics). In each category, there are fibers of lower and higher environmental impact. In this collection you will find mainly natural fibers, such as certified organic cotton, tencel, hemp, and also viscose and recycled polyester. All the items are 100% upcycled and handmade in Portugal. They are the result of the design work of Elena Martinez and Ana Batalla, two fashion design students, that we hosted within a Erasmus+ internship, and the cutting, sewing and trimming was trusted to Maria and Maísa, two senior sewers from Braga, Portugal, that are also inspiring entrepreneurs. This collection is a statement of the value that can be generated when you bring together resources that would be considerar waste. That's also the spirit of our collaboration with other partners, either companies, designers, senior sewers brands and organizations, and that's what you are supporting by choosing our brand.
